Brown v. Board of Education
In the state of Kansas that made it okay for schools to segrate, so there was a school for whites and there was a school for blacks. A certain family the Browns disagreed with this, and with the help of NAACP they challenged this law.
The question is whether "seperate but equal" is constitutional or not.
The ruling was 9 votes for Brown, 0 votes against. The Court decided that segregation went against the equal protection.
